a problem here. God is defined as being ever-living, without end, and dying means<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201ccoming to an end.\u201d Consequently, to ask if He can die is actually a nonsensical question.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is self-contradictory. Similarly, to ask whether God can be born, is also absurd because<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

God has already been defined as eternal, having no beginning. Being born means having<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

a beginning, coming into existence after not existing. In this same vein, atheist<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

philosophers enjoy asking theists: \u201cCan<\/em> God create a stone too heavy for Him to lift<\/em>?\u201d If<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

the theist says yes, it means that God can create something greater than Himself. And if<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

he says no, it means that God is unable to do all things.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Therefore, the term \u201call things\u201d in the phrase \u201cGod is able to do all things\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

excludes the absurdities. It cannot include things that contradict His divine attributes<\/em>;<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

things that would make Him less than God, like, forgetting, sleeping, repenting, growing,<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

eating,<\/em>etc<\/em>. Instead, it includes only \u201call things\u201d that are consistent with Him being God.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This is what the statement \u201cGod is able to do all things\u201d means. It cannot be understood<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

in the absolute sense; it must be qualified.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The claim that God became man<\/em> is also an absurdity. It is not befitting of God to<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

take on human characteristics because it means that the Creator has become His creation.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

However, the creation is a product of the creative act of the Creator. If the Creator<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

became<\/em>His creation, it would mean that the Creator created Himself, which is an obvious<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

absurdity.<\/em> To be created, He would first have to not exist, and, if He did not exist, how<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

could He then create? Furthermore, if He were created, it would mean that He had a<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

beginning, which also contradicts His being eternal. By definition creation is in need of a<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

creator. For created beings to exist they must have a creator to bring them into existence.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

God cannot need a creator because God is the Creator. Thus, there is an obvious<\/span><\/p>\n
