A very significant pillar in the Christian dogma is the crucifixion of Jesus, peace be upon him, for the atonement of sins. It says that Jesus paid the penalty for the original sins and other sins of men by his death on the cross.
Christians claim this while in the bible it’s written that everyone is responsible for his sin and that no one would bear the others’ sins,
“The one who sins is the one who will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child…” (Ezekiel 18:20)
It’s also written in the bible that those who have the persistent urge to do well and sincerity to repent, will find God Ever-Ready to forgive their failures and sins without demanding any compensation from them or from anyone else,” But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.” (Ezekiel 18:21)
Christian apologists claim that Jesus Christ willingly suffered death to pay the price for the sins of men.
According to the bible, this is not the reality; Jesus did not wish to die on the cross, for when he knew that his enemies were plotting against his life, he prayed and beseeched God for help with strong crying for keeping him alive,
“And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.” (Mathew 26:39).
He also says: “Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death” (Mathew 26:38).
Here, Jesus is not happy because he will be saving humanity as they allege.
Jesus’ crucifixion was denied in the 1960s by the highest Catholic Christian Authority, the Pope. He issued a statement in which he said that the Jews had nothing to do with Jesus’ Crucifixion.
Jesus’ prayers not to die on the cross were accepted by God, according to the bible,
” Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared” (Hebrews 5:7).
How could Jesus die on the cross after God’s answering his prayers?!
Moreover, Jesus’ Crucifixion and resurrection were nothing but a heresy invited by Paul, “Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel” (2 Timothy 2:8).
“…others said he (Paul) seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection.“ (Acts 17:18)
Dying on the Cross was not Jesus’ mission; he was not sent by God, the Exalted, to die on the Cross. Jesus came to invite people to worshipping God alone. In addition, if he was to die, God’s Mercy would save him from that alleged crucifixion, but he wasn’t sent for this.
The Qur’an also, exactly like the bible, states that Jesus was not Crucified. It says that he was raised to God, the Exalted, as it’s mentioned(what means): “And (for) their saying, “Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah. “And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but (another) was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain. Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise.”
(Qur’an 4: 157-158).
